I've chosen the book called "The To-Do list", written by Mike Gayle. I'm interested in this book because I'm mad about lists... I'm very organized (maybe too, in fact) and I love to do lists about every little thing around my daily life. Have a look at this website to get more information: http://www.mikegayle.co.uk/to_do.html

It was recommended by Juan Ramón and I think it is easy to read because it has short chapters. More information in http://www.guardian.co.uk/education/2001/dec/08/highereducation.news

I'd like to read a biography by Patrick Williams about Philip II. The title of the book is "Philip II", and I've choosen this book because I'm working in my final degree project and this project is about the armies during the era of Philip II. I've read that this is a really good biography, easy to read and not boring at all, so I'd like to give it a chance.
In this link you can see some of the book's characteristics: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Philip-II-European-History-Perspective/dp/0333630432
I won't be able to go today to the cooking contest so I hope you to spend a nice time during holidays and to have a happy new year!
My first book is “True Tales Of American Life” by Paul Aster. The book has about 180 tales, none more than a few pages long, told by people from all walks of life: “true stories that sounded like fiction”. It sounds really interesting! You can find more information in: http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/2002/oct/12/society.paulauster.
My second book is “On Chesil Beach” by Ian McEwan. I don`t know why I have chosen it because, to be honest with you, I don’t know anything about the book. It was recommended by our teacher in class and I hope not regret it. The link is: http://www.ianmcewan.com/bib/books/chesil.html.
The first book I´m reading is "On Chelsey Beach" by Ian McEwan. Honestly, I chose this book because I started to read it but I didn´t finish it, so this is the moment. Also, because the other book that I have chosen it´s a bit long and this is easer to read. I copy the link from my partner Paloma, ´cause it´s the best one to know the plot of the book: http://www.ianmcewan.com/bib/books/chesil.html.
The second book I want to read it´s "Twilight" written by Stepheny Meyer. I have chosen this book because I really love vampires stories and I read the saga in spanish few years ago, so I think it could be easier to read such a long book (Juan Ramón, take into account that the book has got 260 pages with a very very small letter!!!) Here you have a link with some information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twilight_(novel)
I've chosen the book: Girl with a pearl earring by Tracy Chevalier. It is a historical novel based on the Vermeer's painting with the same title. I've chosen it because I've read very interesting critics about it and the way the writer describes the relationships between the characters as well as the reality of the Netherlands. For more information click the links: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Girl_with_a_Pearl_Earring_(novel) http://www.tchevalier.com/gwape/index.html
