"Due" and books to read

Hi Mates,

First of all find here an example of "due":

This was in a bus stop in Cambridge yesterday, in fact the bus B arrived in less than one minute, British punctuality.

Regarding to the book I have started to read, it is "A  briefer story of time" by Steven Hopkins. I'm sure that most of you know what it is about, let's say that it is like "A brief history of time" but more understandable.
You have a nice explanation on

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Briefer_History_of_Time_(Hawking_and_Mlodinow_book)

When I finish it I will start with: "The story of English: how an obscure dialect became the world's most spoken language" from J. Piercy.
Nice tittle, isn't it?

I wish you a merry Christmas and all the best for this new year!!!

  1. Hi mates,

    I've chosen these two books:
    - "Winter's Bone", by Daniel Woodrell.
    - "The importance of being Earnest", by Oscar Wilde.

I chose the first one because I was looking for a book in a library when I saw it and I remembered a comment made by a friend of mine, in which he recommended me a film. I realised that this film (which share the name with the book) is based on that book. So I took it and now I am reading it. When I finish it, I will compare book and film.

Here you have more information: http://www.amazon.com/Winters-Bone-Novel-Daniel-Woodrell/dp/0316066419

I chose the second book because I had it in my house and I thought it was time to read it. Besides, it is a different genre and this interest me a lot.
